About Jani Marshall

Jani Marshall holds an Honorary Doctorate of Philosophy in Humanitarian Counselling and Suicidology, a Master’s Degree in Suicidology, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling. With over 13 years of experience as a counsellor in her clinic, Pure Counselling and Suicidology Australia, she works daily with clients who are at risk of suicide. Jani possesses deep insight into the complexities of the suicidal mind and recognizes the challenges therapists face when working with such clients. Her approach is gentle, practical, and tailored to address difficult issues sensitively and effectively. Jani also supervisors counsellors across Australia and the Asian Pacific.
